Billions up in smoke

Flare gas in North Dakota is brighter from space than Minneapolis.


The farmers who own the land and mineral rights in North Dakota lose 1.2 billion dollars a year up in smoke, light, and CO2 from this environmental and economic disaster.

So why again did we silently drop all discussion of replacing a for-profit utility with a Municipal utility?


Oh that’s right, because Centerpoint doesn’t even have a choice, it is their fiduciary duty to shareholders to spend whatever amount of ratepayer money it takes to maintain their monopoly position and shut down the discussion about alternative energy options.
